Artist Bio
I am based in the Bay Area and studied sculpture and installation art in college. My practice has evolved over the years to focus more on public facing forms of art that can have a positive impact. I currently pursue street painting, window painting, and murals. I love these forms of art because I get to create a larger than life image in real time for the public to be able to enjoy while experiencing wonderful connections with spectators, other artists, organizers and business people in my community. In college I explored casting with untraditional materials such as paper fiber, leather and medical grade silicone as well as wood working. Being a vet’s daughter and working in the medical field has informed my work for many years, drawing insight and comparisons to the body’s amazing abilities yet fragile existence and balance within its surroundings.
